Has a Built-In Speaker

Like most of the other 2000:1 contrast ratio data projectors that are a similar age to the PG-LX3500, the PG-LX3500 has a built-in speaker.

Alternative data projectors with a built-in speaker currently available which you might want to look at include the Benq SP870, the NEC NP-PA600X, or the Epson EB-465i which has better reviews.

The PG-LX3500 supports a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200 (UXGA). That's over six times the resolution of the most common graphics resolution of 640 x 480 (VGA). This Sharp projector also support graphics resolutions of 1024 x 768 (XGA), 1280 x 1024 (SXGA), 1280 x 800 (WXGA), 1360 x 768 (WXGA), 1366 х 768 and 1400 x 1050 (SXGA+) and 800 x 600 (SVGA). The resolution of all projectors of this age and spec ranges from 640 x 480 (VGA) to 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA).

One person who reviewed the product considered that it did not have good features. Itreviews.com wrote on expert review site IT Reviews.com “It’s a little weak on convenience features, like providing every connector you could possibly want.” in their review of the Sharp PG-LX3500 and gave it a score of 60 out of 100.

Does Not Support Full HD Projection

Most comparable spec projectors that have been available for more than two years do not support Full HD projection. The Sharp PG-LX3500 is no exception to this as it too does not support Full HD projection.

Alternative data projectors which also support Full HD projection that you might also want to look at include the AAXA Technologies LED Android Pico Projector, the NEC NP-PA600X, or the Ricoh PJ X6180N which also has a higher rating.

Does Not Support 3D Image Projection

The PG-LX3500 does not support 3D image projection, although keep in mind that most of the other multimedia projectors of a similar type and age to the PG-LX3500 also do not support 3D image projection.

It is worth also looking at alternative projectors which also support 3D image projection including the U300X, the U260W, or the U310W all from NEC which is also higher rated.

Does Not Support WiFi Connectivity

The PG-LX3500 does not support WiFi connectivity, although this is within the context that most of the other projectors of a comparable age and type to the PG-LX3500 also do not support WiFi connectivity.

We compared this data projector to all the other data projectors with a WiFi connectivity and we think the Epson PowerLite 1761W (£2,499.99), the AAXA Technologies M2 Micro, or the Casio XJ-A256 which also has a higher rating is also worth considering.
