One Sony MP-CL1 reviewer concluded that it was not wifi compatible. Mr. P. Wilkinson mentioned in their review of this projector this year “* The wifi cast service cant be used from iPhone/iPad” .

Quite Dim Projector Brightness

The projector brightness of projectors that are a comparable age to the MP-CL1 range from 37 ANSI lumens to 8,000 ANSI lumens. The projector brightness of the Sony MP-CL1 of only 37 ANSI lumens is one of the dimmest amongst latest comparable spec projectors.

If this Sony projector projector brightness is too dim for you then you might want to consider the Optoma H183X[plb_3381810_price] (3,200 ANSI lumens and higher rated) or the Optoma S321[plb_3539131_price] (3,200 ANSI lumens and cheaper).

Does Not Have a Built-In Speaker

Most of the other latest projectors have a built-in speaker, however the Sony MP-CL1 does not have a built-in speaker.

We compared all the other multimedia projectors which also have a built-in speaker to this data projector and we think the Optoma H183X[plb_3381810_price] which also has a higher rating is also worth considering.

Does Not Support 3D Image Projection

The Sony MP-CL1 does not support 3D image projection. Most of the other latest data projectors do support 3D image projection.

Does Not Support Full HD Projection

The Sony MP-CL1 does not support Full HD projection. Most of the other projectors that came out in the last 12 months also do not support Full HD projection.

Alternative projectors which also support Full HD projection that you might also want to look at include the Optoma S321[plb_3539131_price]; or the Optoma H183X[plb_3381810_price].
