The Sony VPL-DX100 has a built-in speaker, as do most of the other multimedia projectors that have been around for a comparable time to the VPL-DX100.

We compared this multimedia projector to all the other projectors with a built-in speaker and we think because of it's better review score, the Ricoh PJ WX4130, the Vivitek Qumi Q2 (£307.20), and the Sony VPL-DX140 is also worth considering.
