Nine Viewsonic PJD5134 reviewers who purchased the Viewsonic PJD5134 considered that it was good quality. Two years ago K J H Farrelly wrote “Picture quality is excellent and it is fan noise is far lower than our old projector”. Three years ago Matthew Lyon mentioned “Brilliant quality” and gave the product a rating of 5 stars. Like most of the other multimedia projectors of this age and spec, the PJD5134 has a built-in speaker.

It may also be worth considering one of the other multimedia projectors with a built-in speaker currently available including because of it's better review score, the IN124[pl_2194103_price], or the IN122A[pl_2194102_price] both from Infocus or the Viewsonic PJD5483S[plb_1610144_price].

One customer concluded that it did not have good sound quality. Stuart wrote on Amazon “It's a good project with a really clear picture with just a few downsides like the internal speakers are poor” however he still gave the Viewsonic PJD5134 a rating of 80 out of 100.

Does Not Support Full HD Projection

Like most of the other 15000:1 contrast ratio projectors that are a similar age to the PJD5134, the PJD5134 does not support Full HD projection.

We compared this projector to all the other multimedia projectors with a Full HD projection and we think the Viewsonic PJD5483S[plb_1610144_price], or the Optoma S316[plb_2280092_price] which is also higher rated is also worth considering.

Does Not Support WiFi Connectivity

The Viewsonic PJD5134 does not support WiFi connectivity. Most of the other multimedia projectors that have been available for a similar time to the PJD5134 also do not support WiFi connectivity.

Only SVGA (800x600) Native Projector Resolution

The PJD5134 has a maximum resolution of SVGA (800x600). That's 39% less resolution than a XGA (1024x768) projector, which is the most common resolution.

This projector's resolution (SVGA (800x600)) is actually the worst resolution amongst all 15000:1 contrast ratio projectors that are a similar age to the PJD5134.

A WUXGA (1920x1200) native projector resolution is the best resolution amongst comparable types of projector.

The projector brightness of comparable spec projectors that have been available for more than two years range from 700 ANSI lumens to 11,000 ANSI lumens. The PJD5134 has one of the dimmer projector brightness (only 2,800 ANSI lumens) amongst 15000:1 contrast ratio projectors of this age.
