Good Connectivity

Several Viewsonic PJD8633 owners who reviewed the Viewsonic PJD8633 considered that it was good in terms of connectivity. Expert review site Pcmag.com said “It also has a good set of connectivity choices, including LAN, USB display” in their review of this projector and rated it 80 out of 100. Pc Mag said two years ago “Good range of connectivity choices” and scored it 4 stars.

One person who purchased it thought it was well made. Two years ago expert website Pcmag.com said in their review “The Viewsonic PJD8633ws offers solid data-image quality and abundant connectivity in a short-throw projector”.

Supports Full HD Projection

Unlike most of the other 15000:1 contrast ratio projectors that are a comparable age to the PJD8633 which do not support Full HD projection, the PJD8633 supports Full HD projection.

The PJD8633 has a built-in speaker. Most of the other projectors that have been around for a comparable time to the PJD8633 also have a built-in speaker.

There are a number of other projectors with a built-in speaker currently available which you might also want to consider including cheaper multimedia projectors such as the X307[pl_1727619_price], or the W307[pl_1727438_price] both from Optoma.

The PJD8633 has a maximum resolution of WXGA (1280x800). That's 30% more resolution than the most common native projector resolution of XGA (1024x768). The resolution of all data projectors of this age and type ranges from SVGA (800x600) to WUXGA (1920x1200).
