Projectors built by Vivitek have good ratings on average compared to other brands. We also checked the reviews for all projectors (not just projectors) and found that Vivitek also has good ratings across its entire range.

Supports Full HD Projection

The Vivitek D517 supports Full HD projection. Most of the other multimedia projectors of a similar type and age to the D517 do not support Full HD projection.

Alternative multimedia projectors which support Full HD projection currently available that you might want to consider include the Benq W7000+, or the Panasonic PTAE7000U which has better reviews.

Has a Built-In Speaker

The Vivitek D517 has a built-in speaker. Most of the other projectors of a similar spec and age to the D517 do not have a built-in speaker.
