This Archos tablet was given a "Value for Money" award by Play3r.net who said that this tablet computer was great for its price.

Good for Games

A few people who purchased it concluded that it was good playing games on. Trustedreviews.com mentioned on Trusted Reviews “Smartphones are superb gaming devices these days.”. Cnet.co.uk mentioned on expert review site CNET.co.uk three years ago “The Archos GamePad is an attempt to bolt a proper gaming controller to an” in their review of the Archos GamePad but even so only rated this tablets 2 stars. expert website T3.com wrote “2013 is set to be the year that Android gaming breaks free from smartphones” in their Archos GamePad review but despite that only scored this tablets 40 out of 100.

Good Value for Money

Play3r.net highlighted in their review that this Cortex-A9 processor tablet was great for its price.

Good Sound Quality

Two people agreed that the Archos GamePad had good sound quality. Digitalversus.com wrote in their Archos GamePad review on expert website Digital Versus “Even with something that sounds great on paper”. Itproportal.com said “The idea is sound, even brilliant.” but only gave it a rating of 50 out of 100.


One Archos GamePad reviewer who bought this tablets reckoned that it was well made. Expert review site Androidcentral.com mentioned “The GamePad solves this by having everything you expect to see in a game controller built in”.

Tablets with a larger screen size that might also be worth considering include the PAD 790 (7.9" and higher rated), or the PAD 900 (9" and higher rated) both from Xoro or the TechniSat Mini (7.85" and higher rated).

We compared all the other 2 processor core tablets to this tablet and we think because of it's better review score, the Intenso TAB 724, the Blusens Touch 97, and the Huawei 7 Youth is also worth considering.

If you would prefer more processor cores then you might want to look at the Xoro PAD 790 (4 processor cores), or the TechniSat Mini (4 processor cores) which also has a higher Rating.

It may also be worth also looking at one of the other 8GB internal storage capacity tablets currently available including because of it's better review score, the Hamlet 970H2G, the Archos 101 Titanium, or the Yarvik TAB08-150 Junior Tablet.

If this tablet computer internal storage capacity is not large enough for you then you might want to consider the Xoro PAD 790 (16GB), the TechniSat Mini (16GB), or the Blusens Touch 97 (16GB) which is also higher rated.
