Two additional expert review sites liked this tablet. This S4 processor tablet received an "Especially Recommended 5 Star" award from Lydogbilde.no and it received an "Innovation Award" from Itpro.co.uk who decided it was innovative.

Nice Design

A few customers thought the product was good looking. Three years ago expert review site Stuff.tv mentioned “This crazy modular marvel is now much more elegant” and rated this tablet 4 stars. Expert website Itpro.co.uk said also three years ago “A beautifully crafted handset, which fits into the 10in chassis to become a tablet”. In the same month expert review site Wired.co.uk mentioned “As a combi deal with a high-end smartphone and matching tablet the Asus Padfone 2 is more than a gimmick -- it's a pretty good deal”.

Some Asus PadFone 2 owners wrote in their reviews that the product was neat. Expert review site Expertreviews.co.uk wrote in their review of this tablet three years ago “Its Transformer line brought a neat keyboard dock to the standard Android tablet.” . Zdnet.com wrote “Asus has come up with a neat idea with the PadFone 2”.
