Comparable spec tablet computers that are a similar age to the Venue 8 have internal storage capacity of between 16GB and 32GB. The Venue 8 has a fairly large internal storage capacity (32 gigabytes) compared to most of the other Z2580 processor tablets that were released more than two years ago.

The DELL Venue 8 has a better internal memory type than most similar spec tablet computers that have been on the market for a comparable time to it. This tablet computer has a DDR2-SDRAM internal memory type, whereas most tablet computers that were released more than two years ago have a DDR3-SDRAM internal memory type.
