Douglas Craig rated the product as excellent and he wrote in his review of this tablet on Amazon three years ago “The surface 2 is just a fantastic tablet, windows is really nice to use, all the gesture controls work perfectly ( I haven't touched my I pad since I got my surface”. Maria mentioned in his review “I mainly use it for e-mails (I don't use Outlook, I use Yahoo on a web page) and it's great to use proper webpages without resorting to unreliable apps”. Trustedreviews.com mentioned on expert review site Trusted Reviews “The Surface 2 is good tablet if you must have the full Office experience on the go.” and rated the product 70 out of 100. Three years ago expert website Anandtech.com wrote “You'll still get a better third party app experience on Android or iOS”.
