3 Reasons For

Nice Design

One customer said in their reviews that the product was a good design. Techradar.com said in their review on expert website Techradar six years ago “Perhaps with that in mind, Acer has called upon the design talents of Italian automobile expert, Pininfarina, to give it an edge”.

1920 X 1080 Pixels Display Resolution

The AT2358ML supports a maximum display resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. That's 98% more display resolution than a 1366 x 768 pixels TV, which is the most common display resolution supported by televisions of a similar spec and age to the AT2358ML.

A 1920 x 1080 pixels display resolution is actually the best supported display resolution across all similar spec televisions that were released more than two years ago.

Across comparable types of TV the worst supported display resolution is 1366 x 768 pixels.

10 Reasons Against

Average Expert Reviews

This television has an average expert rating of 67% based on three expert reviews from sites including Trusted Reviews, Techradar and gadgetspeak.com.

Acer Only Has Unexceptional Reviews for Its TVs

Small screen size televisions produced by Acer have unexceptional ratings on average. We also checked the reviews for all TVs (not just small screen size televisions) and found that Acer also has unexceptional ratings across its entire range.

Does Not Have a WiFi Connection

The AT2358ML does not have a WiFi connection. Most of the other comparable spec TVs that have been available for around the same time as the AT2358ML also do not have a WiFi connection.

We compared all the other televisions which also have a WiFi connection to this TV and we think the Philips 22PFL3517, the Panasonic TX-L24X6, or the Samsung UE22F5400 is also worth considering.

Does Not Support Smart TV Features

Like most of the other TVs of this spec and age, the AT2358ML does not support smart TV features.

Alternative TVs which also support smart TV features that you might also want to consider include the Philips 22PFL3517, the Toshiba 24D3434, or the LG 28LF491 which also has a higher rating.

Not 3D Compatible

Like most of the other TVs of this spec and age, the AT2358ML is not 3D compatible.

If you are looking for a TV that is 3D compatible then you might also want to consider the C19115, or the C22115 both from Cello or the Salora 24LED6100 which also has a higher rating.

Does Not Have a Built-In Camera

Most small screen size televisions that have been on the market for more than two years do not have a built-in camera. The AT2358ML is no exception to this as it too does not have a built-in camera.

Chart Edit

Very Slow Refresh Rate

At only 50 hertz, the AT2358ML has a fairly slow refresh rate compared to most of the other small screen size televisions that came out more than two years ago. The average refresh rate of small screen size televisions that were released more than two years ago is 71Hz, and the refresh rates range from 50Hz to 350Hz.

We think you might also be interested in some of the alternative 50Hz refresh rate TVs currently available including because of it's better review score, the Acer AT2058ML, the Samsung UE26EH4000, or the Toshiba 19BL502.

TVs with a faster refresh rate that might also be worth looking at include the Seiki SE24HD01 (60Hz), or the Cello C16115 (£119.99) (60Hz) which is also higher rated.

Only Supports Two Analog Signal Format Systems

This television supports a PAL analog signal format system, which is the most frequently supported analog signal format system supported by TVs of a comparable age and type to the AT2358ML. The analog signal format system "SECAM" is also supported by this TV.

Does Not Feature OLED Technology
