Good 3D Picture Quality

A number of LG 47LD950 owners who purchased it said that it had a good 3D picture quality. Argo said “Excellent 2D with probably the best 3D available today!”. Six years ago Cabot001 wrote in their review “The LG 47LD950 - an excellent first passive 3D TV from LG”. Cabot001 also mentioned “The Sky 3D Channel programmes look amazing and there is virtually no ghosting visible when viewing 3D, unlike the LCD/LED active shutter-glasses 3D TVs”.

The average refresh rate of TVs of this type and age is 180Hz, and the refresh rates range from 50Hz to 1,600Hz. With a refresh rate of 200 hertz, the 47LD950 has a fairly fast refresh rate compared to most of the other TVs that are a comparable age to the 47LD950.

We compared this TV to all the other 200Hz refresh rate TVs and we think the LG 42LE8500 which has better reviews is also worth considering.

TVs with a faster refresh rate that might be worth looking at include the UE46F7000 (240Hz), the UN50F6300 (240Hz), or the UE40F7000 (240Hz) all from Samsung which is also higher rated.

Works well before it fries. Excellent driver support in even basic Linux installations
Works really well for wireless N. It works almost as well as the tl-w 772 for wireless N
