The UE42F5500 is not 3D compatible, although it is worth noting that most of the other mid-size TVs that came out around the same time as the UE42F5500 are also not 3D compatible.

Like most of the other televisions of a comparable type and age to the UE42F5500, the Samsung UE42F5500 does not have a built-in camera.

We compared all the other TVs which also have a built-in camera to this television and we think the UE46ES8000, the UN46ES8000, or the UE40F7000 all from Samsung which also has a higher rating is also worth considering.
