1 Reason For

Bosch Vacuum Cleaners Have Good Reviews

Vacuum cleaners produced by Bosch generally have good ratings compared to other manufacturers.

4 Reasons Against

Poor Expert Reviews

This vacuum cleaner received an expert rating of 60% from Expert Reviews. If all the vacuums of a comparable spec and age are ranked by average expert review score then this vacuum is in the bottom 10%.

Does Not Have a Brush Tool

Most vacuums that have been on the market for more than two years do not have a brush tool. The GS50 ProPower is no exception to this as it too does not have a brush tool.

Other vacuum cleaners which also have a brush tool that you might also want to consider include the Xtrem Power, the RH8758 (£148.57), or the RO7845 all from Rowenta which also has a higher Rating.

The weights of vacuum cleaners of a comparable age and spec to the GS50 ProPower range from 1.2kg to 17kg, and the average weight is 6.8kg. With a weight of 8.3 kilograms, the GS50 ProPower is one of the heavier comparable spec vacuums that have been available for around the same time as the GS50 ProPower amongst comparable spec vacuum cleaners of this age.

Alternative vacuums with a heavier weight that you might want to look at include the Thomas Home Clean & Parquet (£457.49) (8.3kg).

Not Cordless

The GS50 ProPower is not cordless. Most of the other vacuum cleaners of a similar type and age to the GS50 ProPower are also not cordless.

If you are looking for a vacuum that is cordless then you might want to consider the RH8758 (£148.57), or the RH8570 both from Rowenta or the Bosch BCH6ATH25 (£217.30) which also has a higher Rating.

3 Other reasons to consider the Bosch GS50 ProPower

Average Operating Radius

With an operating radius of 10 meters, the GS50 ProPower has a fairly typical operating radius compared to most of the other high maximum input power vacuum cleaners that have been around for more than two years.

Other 10m operating radius vacuums currently available which you might want to consider include because of it's better review score, the Steel Design (£998.00), or the S6210 Power both from Miele or the AEG UCORIGIN (£157.00).

Vacuums with a bigger operating radius that might be worth considering include the Nilfisk Bravo (£97.00) (10.2m), the Bosch BGS5ZOODE (11m), or the Thomas Aqua+ Multi Clean X7 (£315.30) (11m) which also has a higher Rating.

Dry Cleaning Type

The cleaning type of the this vacuum is Dry, which is typical of many comparable spec vacuum cleaners that have been available for more than two years.

We compared all the other Dry vacuum cleaners to this vacuum and we think because of it's better review score, the Miele S6 Parkett & Co., the Bomann BS 961 CB, and the AEG UODELUXE (£219.99) is also worth considering.
