1 Reason For

Hoover Has Good Vacuum Cleaner Reviews

We checked 3,541 expert and user reviews for Hoover vacuums and found that on average Hoover has good ratings compared to other brands. However we also found that Hoover has unexceptional ratings specifically for its high maximum input power vacuums.

5 Reasons Against

Does Not Have a Brush Tool

Like most of the other high maximum input power vacuums that have been on the market for more than two years, the RushExtra does not have a brush tool.

Chart Edit

Quite Small Operating Radius

The Hoover RushExtra has a fairly small operating radius (only 8 meters) compared to most of the other vacuum cleaners that have been around for a comparable time to the RushExtra. The operating radii of comparable spec vacuum cleaners that came out around the same time as the RushExtra range from 2.5m to 27m.

If this vacuum operating radius is not big enough for you then you might want to look at the Miele Compact C2 PowerLine (10m) which is also higher rated.

Very Low Suction Power

The suction power of vacuums of a similar age and spec to the RushExtra range from 170W to 2,200W. With a suction power of only 250 Watts, the RushExtra has one of the lower suction power amongst comparable spec vacuums of this age.

We think you might also be interested in some of the alternative 250W suction power vacuums currently available including the Dyson DC29 (£203.00) which has better reviews.
