Dry Cleaning Type

The cleaning type of the this vacuum is Dry, which is typical of many high maximum input power vacuums that have been on the market for a comparable time to it.

There are a number of alternative Dry vacuums currently available which you might want to consider including because of it's better review score, the Airbelt K3 Premium 1200 (£332.41), or the Airbelt K1 Parquet (£199.11) both from Sebo or the Miele Compact C2 PowerLine (£99.00).

4 Reasons Against

Does Not Have a Brush Tool

The Russell Hobbs 22130 does not have a brush tool, although it is worth noting that most of the other high maximum input power vacuums that have been available for a similar time to the 22130 also do not have a brush tool.

We compared this vacuum to all the other vacuum cleaners with a brush tool and we think the Optimo, or the ABL900 both from Bestron or the AEG Vampyr T10 is also worth considering.

Quite Low Suction Power

Comparable spec vacuums that were launched around the same time as the 22130 have suction power of between 180W and 2,200W, and the average suction power is 520W. With a suction power of only 180 Watts, the Russell Hobbs 22130's suction power is one of the lowest amongst similar spec vacuum cleaners that are a comparable age to the 22130.

If you are looking for a vacuum with a higher suction power then you might also want to consider the U89-MA-L (£99.98) (200W), the U88-W1 (£59.99) (210W), or the Astrata C90-AS-B-AS (£105.64) (240W) all from VAX which also has a higher Rating.
