Easy to Use
Three customers who purchased this webcam considered that it was easy to setup. Atkinra wrote in their review “Easy to set up and picture quality is very good”. Mr W. rated it 80 out of 100 and he said “Auto overwrite when full) Easy to set up for internet access” in his Foscam FI9828P review. Rob Ward mentioned on Amazon this month “Really easy to set up and the picture is really sharp” in his Foscam FI9828P review.
Two Foscam FI9828P reviewers who purchased it agreed that it was easy to use. Two years ago April Smart gave the Foscam FI9828P a rating of 5 stars and she wrote on Amazon “Superb night vision, very good range, easy to control” in her review of this webcam. The FI9828P has a Firewire (IEEE 1394) interface which is better than the USB interface found on most webcams of this age and spec. The best interface of all webcams of a comparable age and type to the FI9828P is USB 2 and the worst is RJ-45.
We think this low megapixel count webcam looks expensive compared to other webcams of a comparable spec and age. The cheapeast webcam of a comparable age and spec that we found costs £8 and the most expensive costs £146.
