The Media-Tech MT4040 has a maximum video resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels. That's over six times the video resolution of a 640 x 480 pixels webcam, which is the most common video resolution.

A 1600 x 1200 pixels maximum video resolution is in fact the best video resolution across all webcams that have been on the market for around the same time as the MT4040.

A 640 x 480 pixels maximum video resolution is the worst video resolution amongst comparable types of webcam.
