Poor Battery Life

Three owners mentioned in their reviews that this camcorder did not have a good battery life. J. Dennis mentioned on expert review site Amazon “If you want to run the camera for more than 20 or 30 minutes - both taking and reviewing video - the supplied starter battery isn't going to help much” in their review of the Canon Legria HF R38. Aileen said in her review of this camcorder four years ago “Disappointed by the battery life which only held about 30 minutes of charge”. In the same month Rebel mentioned in their review of this camcorder on expert review site Amazon “Great little unit let down by pathetic canon battery” however despite that they gave the product a score of 4 stars out of 5.
