SDXC compatible memory cards

The GY-HM850 supports a better memory card type than most recently released small total megapixels video cameras. This video camera supports an SDXC compatible memory cards, whereas most new small total megapixels video cameras support an SDHC compatible memory cards. SDXC cards are SD cards but with a much higher capacity and faster processing speeds. They have a maximum capacity of 2TB (Terabytes).

An SDXC compatible memory cards is in fact the best supported memory card type amongst all small total megapixels video cameras that have been around for a similar time to the GY-HM850.

The worst supported memory card type amongst similar types of camcorder is SD.

SDHC cards are DS cards with a higher capacity of up to 32GB.

The JVC GY-HM850 has a 1080i supported video modes which is better than most camcorders that are a similar age to it.
