Some customers who reviewed the Sony HDR-CX210 agreed that it was a bargain for the price. Cnet.com wrote in their review of the Sony HDR-CX210 “They're cheap and capture video.”. Cnet.com also said “Don't buy the Sony Handycam HDR-CX190, CX200 or CX210 thinking that you're getting a great bargain on a real HD camcorder”.
