The smallest display diagonal of medium megapixel cameras that were released more than two years ago is 2" and the largest is 4.8". The A4000 IS has one of the larger display diagonals (3 inches) amongst comparable spec digital cameras of this age.
There are a number of alternative 3" screen digital cameras currently available which you might want to look at including the SLT-A35Y + DT 18-55mm + DT 55-200mm, or the HX100V both from Sony or the Nikon L120 which all of have better reviews.
If you want a larger display diagonal then you might want to look at the Df (£2,039) (3.2" and higher rated), or the D4 (£4,225) (3.2" and higher rated) both from Nikon or the Canon ELPH 320 HS (3.2" and higher rated).
