I've been doing photography for a few years with my previous Canon 350D and just recently upgraded to a Nikon 3100 DSLR with a few lenses, such as the 18 55mm 3.5 5.6G, 35 135mm 3.5 4.5D, and a 50mm
I have my settings set to P mode and manual ISO (the most manual it can get). ISO performance at 1600 still looks useable even with a teeny-tiny sensor with 16MP crammed into it. Noise would be a lot

Because it has such a small sensor, the bokeh isn't all that great when compared to a DSLR. But it does much better than the previous point-and-shoot cameras I've owned so this is a real plus
The rechargeable battery was able to last me a few hundred shots without flash, which is very impressive even for a battery with 680mAh
Not any major flaws with this camera at all. Everything just seems to work, although I would like to see a full mode dial on these point-and-shoot cameras sometime in the future

This camera worked well for 13 months, then the lens got stuck and wouldn't come out. I would say I took good care of it. I had my last Sony camera for 7 years with no problems. :(.
