Comparable spec digital cameras that have been around for more than two years have display diagonals of between 2" and 4.8", and the average display diagonal is 2.9". When compared to other medium megapixel cameras that were released more than two years ago that we have checked, the display diagonal of the Fujifilm FinePix AX550 of only 2.7 inches is one of the smallest.
Alternative 2.7" screen cameras currently available which you might want to look at include because of its better review score, the Fujifilm FinePix JX500.
If you would prefer a larger display diagonal then you might want to consider the Pentax K-01 (3" and higher rated), the Sony NEX-5 (£489.99) (3" and higher rated), or the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ56 (3" and higher rated).
