The FinePix S4800 has a fairly large display diagonal (3 inches) compared to most of the other cameras of this age and type. Similar spec cameras that have been available for around the same time as this camera have display diagonals of between 2" and 4.8", and the average display diagonal is 2.9".
We compared all the other 3" screen digital cameras to this digital camera and we think because of their better review scores, the Fujifilm F800EXR, and the Sony NEX-6Y (£934.39) are also worth considering.
If you are looking for a larger display diagonal then you might want to consider the Df (£2,039) (3.2" and higher rated), the D4 (£4,225) (3.2" and higher rated), or the D4S (£3,379.99) (3.2" and higher rated) all from Nikon.
