At 3 inches, the Fujifilm FinePix S8400 has a quite large display diagonal compared to most of the other cameras that were released around the same time as this digital camera. The display diagonals of similar spec cameras that were released more than two years ago range from 2" to 4.8".
We think you might also be interested in some of the alternative 3" screen cameras currently available including because of it's better review score, the SLT-A35Y + DT 18-55mm + DT 55-200mm, or the NEX-6Y both from Sony or the Samsung SAMSUNG DV300F.
If you want a camera with a larger display diagonal then you might also want to look at the Df (£2,039) (3.2"), the D4 (£4,225) (3.2"), or the D4S (£3,379.99) (3.2") all from Nikon which is also higher rated.
