Cameras of a comparable age and spec to this digital camera have display diagonals of between 2" and 4.8". The Sony DSC-W580 has a fairly large display diagonal (3 inches) compared to most of the other medium megapixel cameras that have been around for a comparable time to this digital camera.
Alternative 3" screen cameras currently available which you might want to consider include the Sony SLT-A35Y + DT 18-55mm + DT 55-200mm, or the Samsung SAMSUNG DV300F which both of have better reviews.
If this camera display diagonal is too small for you then you might want to look at the Df (£2,039) (3.2" and higher rated), the D4 (£4,225) (3.2" and higher rated), or the D4S (£3,379.99) (3.2" and higher rated) all from Nikon.
