Expert review site Infoworld.com gave it a score of 5 stars and said “These systems are fast and full-featured, yet slim, light” in their DELL XPS 13 review. Three years ago Cnet.com mentioned on CNET.com “Important ways, while keeping its slim silhouette intact”. Five years ago Crn.com said in their DELL XPS 13 review “The XPS 13 is fast, thin and light”.

Several DELL XPS 13 reviewers concluded that it was compact. Pcmag.com mentioned on PC Mag “A compact bo”. Expert website Computershopper.com mentioned in their DELL XPS 13 review “The company managed to jam a 13.3-inch screen into the size of a typical 11.6-inch compact, while keeping weight well below three pounds”. Computershopper.com also mentioned “Dell's redesigned XPS 13 is compact, extremely attractive”.

Some people who bought this laptop considered that it was lightweight.
