Some HP Stream 13 reviewers who purchased this laptop wrote that it was cheap. Expert website Pcmag.com wrote “The HP Stream 13 ($229.99) is an attractive ultraportable laptop priced to compete with inexpensive Chromebooks, as well as closeout specials in Sunday papers”. Pcmag.com also wrote “The HP Stream 13 is a very inexpensive full Windows 8.1 ultraportable laptop.”. Expert review site Digitalone.com.sg said two years ago “It has to be inexpensive” .

Four HP Stream 13 owners who purchased this laptop agreed that it was good value for money. Luke G. mentioned in his HP Stream 13 review on Amazon “Amazing laptop for price works fine”. Product Reviewer said in January last year “A really good students laptop and great value for money” in their review of this laptop. Laptopmag.com mentioned three years ago “The HP Stream 13 strikes back against Chromebooks with a stylish and affordable 13-inch Windows 8 laptop that offers solid performance”.
