Full teardown of the notebook is required just to change the HDD or RAM
The lid is a huge fingerpint magnet and the kyboard tray is quite flexible
The CPU is a bottleneck in terms of gaming performance
Disassembly required for replacing battery or maintenance, all interfaces in the front areas, at best, middling keyboard, pale, viewing angle dependent TN screen, sound system obviously defect

If you are not a nitpicker then this laptop is fantastic. Now I am of the school that does not trash a product because of any minor shortcoming so perhaps the other people of my age will find a reason
Everything works (Linux Mint 17.3) out of the box, Wifi, network, chipset, buttons, ATI opensource and proprietary drivers, webcam, sound (sound quality is good), hibernate and sleep modes. Performanc
Difficult to access hard drive and ram
Some keys on the keyboard are smaller and require adjusting to
Bottom case is a bit tough to take apart for a hard drive or memory replacement
Display is not quite as good as you would expect. But the people who review it and say "snarf werst displer evur" are just babies
Battery life needs core speed stepping and ATI shutdown, can probably get 5 6W if pushed. Battery is pretty small for the size
