We compared this LCD screen to all the other LCD screens with a built-in camera and we think the DELL UZ2315H[plb_2324899_price], and the Apple 27" Thunderbolt Display[plb_1794077_price] which has better reviews is also worth considering.

The 27" Cinema Display has a built-in speaker(s), unlike most of the other comparable spec PC screens that were released more than two years ago which do not have a built-in speaker(s).

It may also be worth also looking at one of the other flatpanel monitors with a built-in speaker(s) currently available including the DELL UZ2315H[plb_2324899_price], or the Asus VG248QE[plb_1529549_price] which has better reviews.

There are a number of other PC monitors which also have a built-in speaker(s) that you might want to look at including the Eizo Flexscan EV2336W[plb_1716850_price].

A Bit Expensive

Some Apple 27" Cinema Display owners considered that this PC monitor was not good value for money. M. Selway mentioned in their review of this PC monitor on Amazon “Superb addition for a macbook, simple and hassle free, pricey though”. Mr. Guy Mcevoy mentioned in his Apple 27" Cinema Display review two years ago “The price hasn't come down as much as you would expect for tech that is that old.”. Expert review site Alphr.com wrote “It's pricey and overly restrictive” but in spite of that they still scored the Apple 27" Cinema Display 67 out of 100.

One Apple 27" Cinema Display reviewer said in their reviews that this PC monitor was not cheap. Nicholas_b wrote on Amazon “Most expensive mirror on Amazon”. One customer reckoned that it was not a bargain for the price. Expert review site Techradar.com mentioned “Apple kit's never cheap” in their review of this PC monitor but despite that they still scored it 70 out of 100.

LCD Display

The 27" Cinema Display has an LCD display which is better than the LED display found on most PC displays of a comparable spec and age to it.

We compared this LCD screen to all the other PC screens that have an LCD Display and we think the iiyama XB2485WSU[plb_1448731_price] which has better reviews; or the Philips 240S4[plb_1482821_price] which is cheaper are also worth considering.

If the display type of this flatpanel monitor is not good enough for you then you might want to consider the GW2765[pl_2408928_price] (LED and higher rated), or the XL2411[pl_2130532_price] (LED and higher rated) both from Benq or the Philips 239C4[plb_1395262_price] (LED and higher rated).
