Nice Design

A few customers who bought this PC monitor wrote that it was good looking. A few weeks ago Jeeper mentioned in their review “Beautiful Monitor and REPLACEMENT TIPS ARE AVAIABLE!”. Michael W. Sheeler mentioned “A beautiful product with no basic support in the most obvious area.a replacement nib for the stylus” but despite that he gave the product a score of 1 stars. In December last year Terrance Earle said “The pixels are visually weird at first.” and scored it 5 stars.

Asus Has Good Reviews for Its Flatpanel Monitors

Asus is one of the superior PC screen brands according to average reviews from experts and owners, and Asus also has good reviews for its small monitors.


One customer wrote that the Asus PT201 was strong and durable. Todd wrote in his review of the Asus PT201 on Amazon in December last year “The tip is durable and fine, which is what I was looking for”.

This small monitor has an average owner rating of 58 out of 100 based on 13 owner reviews. Owners don't rate this LCD screen very highly.

A Bit Expensive

Several Asus PT201 reviewers said in their reviews that the Asus PT201 was not cheap. Michael W. Sheeler said “That meant that after that period I am stuck with an overpriced monitor and a worthless stylus” in his review of this PC monitor. In December last year Todd mentioned on Amazon “It is a wonderful alternative to the overpriced Wacom” in his review of the Asus PT201 although he still rated the Asus PT201 as very good.

Two people who purchased it concluded that it was not good value for money. Evey wrote “I don't see it as good enough for that price- let alone 1k” in their Asus PT201 review and gave it a rating of 3 stars. Len Cook said on Amazon “For units that is out of warranty the process is the same it's just the customer will pay for the repair charges plus shipping cost” and gave the Asus PT201 a rating of 2 stars.

One Asus PT201 reviewer said that this PC monitor was not a bargain for the price. In December Amazon Customer said “Pen tether is no big deal really.” and gave it a rating of 3 stars.

Not Good in Terms of Size

One customer who bought it concluded that it was not a good weight. In December Jeeper mentioned “The cord on the pen is not a problem, in fact I like it! Its light weight and will help me from loosing my pen honestly”.

One Asus PT201 owner who reviewed the Asus PT201 thought it was not thick. Jeeper wrote on Amazon in December “One thing I hear a lot from artists who work digitally with touch pens is they tend to loose their pens” in their review of the Asus PT201.

One Asus PT201 reviewer mentioned in their reviews that the Asus PT201 was not heavy and bulky. In December last year Michael W. Sheeler said on Amazon “I am heavy handed and will go through the two nibs that shipped with the device in a few months” and gave the Asus PT201 a score of 20 out of 100.
