This flatpanel monitor is one of the most highly awarded of all the PC monitors of a similar age and spec.

The experts at three expert review sites all decided that this LCD screen was marvellous and gave it their highest award. This PC display received an "Editor's Choice" award from PC Mag, CNET.com.au and Zdnet.com.au.

Good Product Quality

Six owners who purchased the product thought it was good quality. Seven years ago expert review site Flatpanelshd.com said “It’s called U3011 and has a quality IPS panel inside” in their review of the DELL U3011. Mr. Colin J. Izatt gave this PC monitor a score of the highest possible rating of 5 stars and he mentioned in his review of this PC monitor on Amazon also seven years ago “Stunning jaw dropping picture quality”. Steve360 wrote on Amazon “The monitor looks really professional and build quality is excellent (although probably does not look as good from the back as the apple displays”.

Robust

Five owners said in their reviews that the DELL U3011 was well made. Flatpanelshd.com said in their review of this PC monitor “The stand is solid and allows users to tilt, swivel” . Steve360 mentioned “Another thing important to think about with a monitor this size is the height which is easily adjustable on the very solid stand, you can also tilt”. Nice Design

Andrew mentioned in his review of this PC monitor on Amazon “Trouble is, I didn't buy a very expensive 30" monitor to look at its bezel, OSD or input array, I bought it to look at the picture” although he only scored it 3 stars out of 5. Anders Rask wrote on Amazon five years ago “Although I am convinced it will be much better it is more than twice as expensive”. Four years ago Mike Rodent mentioned on Amazon “105W (typical it appears) is a lot of expensive electricity especially if you are using it most of the day”.

Has a Card Reader Integrated

The DELL U3011 has a card reader integrated, which is unusual. Most of the other flatpanel monitors of a comparable age and spec to this PC monitor do not have a card reader integrated.

Other flatpanel monitors with a card reader integrated currently available which you might also want to look at include the PG2401 (£598.00), or the BL3201 (£659.99) both from Benq which has better reviews.

We compared this flatpanel monitor to all the other PC screens with a card reader integrated and we think the DELL UP2414Q (£499.99) is also worth considering.
