The Pro2840 has a built-in speaker(s). Most of the other LCD screens of a comparable type and age to the Pro2840 do not have a built-in speaker(s).

It may also be worth considering one of the alternative PC monitors with a built-in speaker(s) currently available including the Acer S277hkwmidpp (£462) which is cheaper; or the iiyama XB2776QS (£479.99) which has better reviews.

We compared all the other PC displays which also have a built-in speaker(s) to this PC monitor and we think the HP EliteDisplay S240 (£225.12) is also worth considering.

Running Costs Are Very High

The average 8 year running cost of the Pro2840 is £129 based on average usage levels and energy prices, which makes it one of the least economic to run PC monitors of a similar spec and age.

LCD Display

The Pro2840 has an LCD display which is better than most PC displays of this spec and age. Most LCD screens that are a similar age to it have an LED display.

We compared this LCD screen to all the other PC screens that have an LCD Display and we think the x2401, and the ZR30w (£874) both from HP which has better reviews; or the HP x20LED which is cheaper are also worth considering.

If the display type of this LCD screen is not good enough for you then you might want to look at the LG 32LS33 (£249) (LED and cheaper) or the Asus PB279 (£579.99) (LED and higher rated).

The Pro2840 does not have a built-in camera. Most of the other similar spec PC displays that were released more than two years ago also do not have a built-in camera.

Alternative LCD screens which also have a built-in camera that you might want to look at include the Philips 272P4 (£458.70).

The Pro2840 is not 3D, although it is worth noting that most of the other PC screens of a comparable type and age to the Pro2840 are also not 3D.

Does Not Have a Card Reader Integrated

Most PC screens of this type and age do not have a card reader integrated. The Pro2840 is no exception to this as it too does not have a card reader integrated.

Alternative PC screens which also have a card reader integrated that you might also want to look at include the UP2414Q (£499.99), or the U3014 (£749) both from DELL which also has a higher rating.

The highest resolution of the Lenovo Pro2840 is 3840 x 2160. That's over four times the resolution of the most common supported graphics resolutions of 1920 x 1080 (HD 1080).

A 3840 x 2160 supported graphics resolutions is actually the best resolution amongst all PC monitors of this type and age.
