7 Reasons Against

Expert Reviews Are Poor

This multimedia projector received an expert rating of 60 out of 100 from Expert Reviews. It seems that multimedia projector experts really don't rate this projector very highly.

Does Not Support 3D

The Benq MP610 does not support 3D, unlike most of the other data projectors of this age and type.

There are a number of alternative multimedia projectors which also support 3D which you might want to consider including the PowerLite Home Cinema 5030ub, or the PowerLite Pro G6900WU both from Epson or the Benq W7000+ which is also higher rated.

Does Not Support Full HD

The Benq MP610 does not support full HD. Most of the other data projectors that are a comparable age to the MP610 also do not support full HD.

We compared this projector to all the other multimedia projectors with a full HD and we think the W7000+, or the W7500 both from Benq or the Panasonic PT-LZ370U which also has a higher rating is also worth considering.

Does Not Support Wi-Fi

Most data projectors that were launched around the same time as the MP610 do not support wi-Fi. The Benq MP610 is no exception to this as it too does not support wi-Fi.

It is worth also looking at alternative projectors which also support wi-Fi including the Epson EB-Z9900W, the Elmo BOXi MP-350, or the Benq GP20 (£456.41) which also has a higher rating.
