Good Picture Quality

Four customers who reviewed this projector reckoned that it had good picture quality. Projectorcentral.com said in their review “Data image quality is noticeably worse over an analog (VGA) connection than with HDMI”.

Good Product Quality

A few customers who reviewed the product thought it was good quality. Four years ago Pcmag.com wrote on PC Mag “Its data image quality, which is best over a digital connection, is fine for typical presentations, while video quality is suitable for shorter clips” in their review. Pcmag.com also said “The BenQ MW519 is a likable data projector for classroom use, with good data image quality over a digital connection, 3D capabilities”. Projectorcentral.com said “Solid data image quality, especially over HDMI” and gave the product a score of 4 stars.

Good Technical Features

Two customers who reviewed this projector agreed that it had good features. Four years ago expert website Itreviews.com said in their review “Some appealing features inclu” but despite that they rated the product 3 stars. Expert website Chip.com.my wrote “Some big, some small, some with a number of cool bells and whistles” in their Benq MW519 review.

One person thought it was cheap. Four years ago Projectorcentral.com said in their review of the Benq MW519 “Are looking for an inexpensive projector for a conference room or classroom” and gave it a rating of 4 stars.

Supports 3D

Like most of the other 13000:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors that were released more than two years ago, the Benq MW519 supports 3D.

We compared all the other projectors which support 3D to this projector and we think the MS502[pl_1385309_price], the MX666[pl_2298355_price], and the MX600[pl_2024731_price] all from Benq which has better reviews is also worth considering.

1600 X 1200 (UXGA) Supported Graphics Resolutions

The Benq MW519 supports a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200 (UXGA). That's over six times the resolution of a 640 x 480 (VGA) projector, which is the most frequently found resolution supported by 13000:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors that have been on the market for around the same time as the MW519. 640 x 480 (VGA) is also supported by this Benq projector. The worst resolution of all similar spec projectors that are a comparable age to the MW519 is 640 x 480 (VGA) and the best is 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA).

The projector brightnesss of data projectors of a comparable age and type to the MW519 range from 800 ANSI lumens to 4,200 ANSI lumens, and the average projector brightness is 3,000 ANSI lumens.
