The Benq MW526 does not support full HD, although this is within the context that most of the other projectors of a similar age and type to this multimedia projector also do not support full HD.

The dimmest projector brightness of projectors of a comparable age and spec to this projector is 800 ANSI lumens and the brightest is 4,200 ANSI lumens. With a projector brightness of 3,200 ANSI lumens, the Benq MW526 has one of the brighter projector brightnesses amongst 13000:1 contrast ratio projectors of this age.

It may also be worth considering one of the other 3,200 ANSI lumens brightness projectors currently available including the MS524 (£265.21), or the TW526E (£319.98) both from Benq which is cheaper.

The Benq MW526 has a maximum resolution of WXGA (1280x800). That's 30% more resolution than the most common projector native resolution of XGA (1024x768). The best resolution of all multimedia projectors that have been around for around the same time as this projector is 1080p (1920x1080) and the worst is SVGA (800x600).

There are a number of alternative 33dB noise level projectors currently available which you might also want to consider including the Benq MS504 (£420.69) which has better reviews.
