Three customers who reviewed the product considered that it was good quality. Expert website Pcmag.com wrote in their review of this projector five years ago “The Canon LV-7292M is an LCD-based projector that provides decent data and good video image quality for a small business” . Pc Mag said in their review of this projector on PC Mag “Fairly good video quality for a data projector” but despite that they gave the product a score of 3 stars. Pc Mag also wrote “Good text quality”.

1920 X 1200 (WUXGA) Supported Graphics Resolutions

The highest resolution supported by the Canon 7292M is 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA). That's 20% more resolution than the most common supported graphics resolutions of 1600 x 1200 (UXGA) (which is also supported by this Canon projector). This projector also support supported graphics resolutionss of 1024 x 768 (XGA), 1280 x 1024 (SXGA), 1280 x 768 (WXGA), 1360 x 768 (WXGA), 1400 x 1050 (SXGA+), 1440 x 900 (WXGA+), 1680 x 1050 (WSXGA+) and 640 x 480 (VGA) and 800 x 600 (SVGA).

A 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) supported graphics resolutions is in fact the best supported resolution across all 500:1 contrast ratio projectors that are a similar age to the 7292M.

A 640 x 480 (VGA) supported graphics resolutions is the worst supported resolution across similar types of projector.

Quite Dim Projector Brightness

500:1 contrast ratio projectors that were released more than two years ago have projector brightnesss of between 1,500 ANSI lumens and 3,200 ANSI lumens. At only 2,200 ANSI lumens, the Canon 7292M has a fairly dim projector brightness compared to most of the other similar spec projectors that have been on the market for around the same time as the 7292M.

If you would prefer a data projector with a brighter projector brightness then you might want to consider the PT-TW230U (2,500 ANSI lumens and higher rated), or the PT-TW231RU (2,500 ANSI lumens and higher rated) both from Panasonic or the Optoma HD23 (2,500 ANSI lumens and higher rated).
