The Optoma HD26 has a noise level of 31dB (as do the Optoma GT1080 and the Optoma HD141X), but the Optoma GT760 is a 29dB projector (2dB quieter).

The noise level of the projector is the amount of noise that the projector makes (caused by the cooling fan inside the projector) when it is running.

A lower noise level means that the projector will be quieter when it is running. This means that you will be able to appreciate the quieter parts of films better without the background noise of the projector running.

The Optoma HD26 has a service life of lamp of 5,000h, and so does the Optoma HD141X. That's 1,500h shorter than the Optoma GT1080 (6,500h) and 500h longer than the Optoma GT760 (4,500h).

This indicates how long the lamp in the projector will last before it needs to be replaced, measured in hours.

A longer life lamp means you'll need to replace it far less frequently, saving you money.
