Unacceptable Noise Level

One Elmo BOXi T-350 reviewer who reviewed it mentioned that it was not noisy. Two years ago expert review site Expertreviews.co.uk gave the product a score of 60 out of 100 and said “Is very noisy”.

Quite Dim Projector Brightness

The projector brightnesss of 10000:1 contrast ratio projectors that were launched more than two years ago range from 300 ANSI lumens to 12,000 ANSI lumens, and the average projector brightness is 3,300 ANSI lumens. When compared to other 10000:1 contrast ratio projectors that were released more than two years ago that we have assessed the projector brightness of, the Elmo BOXi T-350's projector brightness of only 300 ANSI lumens is one of the dimmest.

It may also be worth considering one of the alternative 300 ANSI lumens brightness multimedia projectors currently available including the Acer K130, the Benq GP3, or the DELL M110 which has better reviews.

Multimedia projectors with a brighter projector brightness that might be worth looking at include the W1070+W (£839.22) (2,200 ANSI lumens), or the W1350 (£1,103.81) (2,500 ANSI lumens) both from Benq or the Epson PowerLite 570 (£738.25) (2,700 ANSI lumens) which is also higher rated.

Does Not Support 3D

Most 10000:1 contrast ratio projectors that have been around for more than two years do not support 3D. The BOXi T-350 is no exception to this as it too does not support 3D.

We think you might also be interested in other multimedia projectors which also support 3D including the X1111, or the 240 both from Acer or the Benq MH630 which is also higher rated.

Does Not Support Wi-Fi

The BOXi T-350 does not support wi-Fi, although it is worth noting that most of the other projectors that have been around for a comparable time to the BOXi T-350 also do not support wi-Fi.

Alternative projectors which also support wi-Fi that you might also want to consider include the EB-X18, or the PowerLite 1222 both from Epson or the Benq W1500 which also has a higher rating.

Poorly design and very noisy projector. Images quality is good (color contrast etc.), but the black level aren't has deep has they should be for that price range...
