Epson has good average reviews for its 16000:1 contrast ratio data projectors as well as across its entire projector range compared to other brands.

Good Product Quality

Some customers who reviewed this projector reckoned that it was good quality. Pcmag.com said on expert review site PC Mag last year “The Epson PowerLite 535W WXGA 3LCD Projector delivers excellent quality for data images, watchable video” and scored it 80 out of 100.

The PowerLite 535W supports a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200 (UXGA). That's over six times the resolution of a 640 x 480 (VGA) projector, which is the most common resolution supported by data projectors that were released around the same time as the PowerLite 535W. 640 x 480 (VGA) is also supported by this data projector. In addition, this multimedia projector support supported graphics resolutionss of 1280 x 960, 1024 x 768 (XGA), 1152 x 864 (XGA+), 1280 x 1024 (SXGA), 1360 x 768 (WXGA), 1400 x 1050 (SXGA+) and 1440 x 900 (WXGA+) and 800 x 600 (SVGA).

This projector's resolution (1600 x 1200 (UXGA)) is actually the best supported resolution amongst all projectors of a comparable age and type to the PowerLite 535W.

A 640 x 480 (VGA) supported graphics resolutions is the worst supported resolution amongst comparable types of projector.
