Good Product Quality

A number of people considered that it was good quality. Pcmag.com mentioned on PC Mag two years ago “Offers a bright image, excellent quality for data screens” in their review. Pcmag.com also mentioned “Better video quality than most data projectors”. Pc Mag mentioned “Excellent quality for data images” in their review of the Epson PowerLite 99W.

Good Size

A number of people who reviewed this projector reckoned that it was lightweight. That's over six times the resolution of a 640 x 480 (VGA) multimedia projector, which is the most frequently found resolution supported by projectors that have been available for more than two years. 640 x 480 (VGA) is also supported by this data projector. This projector also support supported graphics resolutionss of 1280 x 960, 1366 x 768, 1024 x 768 (XGA), 1280 x 1024 (SXGA), 1400 x 1050 (SXGA+) and 1440 x 900 (WXGA+) and 800 x 600 (SVGA). Inferior Picture Quality

One customer who reviewed this projector concluded that it did not have a good contrast ratio. Pc Mag mentioned in their review of this projector on PC Mag two years ago “A relatively high black level and a modest contrast ratio means this projector is not” although they rated this projector 4 stars.

The PowerLite 99W does not support full HD, although this is within the context that most of the other comparable spec data projectors that were released around the same time as the PowerLite 99W also do not support full HD.

It is worth also looking at other data projectors which also support full HD including the W1070[pl_1522360_price], the TH682[pl_2448398_price], or the W1400[pl_1731595_price] all from Benq which also has a higher rating.
