Does Not Support Full HD

The Powerlite S18+ does not support full HD, although it is worth keeping in mind that most of the other 10000:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors that have been around for more than two years also do not support full HD.

Alternative multimedia projectors which also support full HD that you might also want to consider include the Epson Home Cinema 600.

At 37 decibels, the Epson Powerlite S18+ has a fairly standard noise level compared to most of the other similar spec data projectors that are a comparable age to this projector.

We compared all the other 37dB noise level projectors to this data projector and we think because of it's better review score, the Epson EB-W18 is also worth considering.

The Epson Powerlite S18+ has a maximum resolution of SVGA (800x600). That's 53% less resolution than the most common projector native resolution of WXGA (1280x800).

This projector's resolution (SVGA (800x600)) is actually the worst resolution amongst all projectors of this age and spec.

The best resolution amongst similar types of projector is WUXGA (1920x1200).
