Like most of the other 5000:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors that have been on the market for more than two years, the Epson PowerLite W16 does not support full HD.

There are a number of alternative projectors which also support full HD which you might want to consider including the Z8455WUNL, or the PowerLite W16SK both from Epson or the Hitachi CP-AX2503.
