The highest resolution of the Epson VS240 is SVGA (800x600). That's 77% less resolution than a 1080p (1920x1080) data projector, which is the most common resolution.

A SVGA (800x600) projector native resolution is actually the worst resolution across all 15000:1 contrast ratio projectors that were launched around the same time as this data projector.

A WUXGA (1920x1200) projector native resolution is the best resolution across comparable types of projector.

Average Projector Brightness

At 3,000 ANSI lumens, the Epson VS240 has a pretty standard projector brightness compared to most of the other similar spec data projectors that came out more than a year ago.

We compared all the other 3,000 ANSI lumens brightness projectors to this data projector and we think because of it's better review score, the Acer X112H (£169.97) is also worth considering.

If you would prefer a data projector with a brighter projector brightness then you might want to consider the EB-W31 (£315.30) (3,200 ANSI lumens), the EB-X31 (£329.98) (3,200 ANSI lumens), or the EB-S31 (£259.98) (3,300 ANSI lumens) all from Epson which is also higher rated.
