Good Connectivity

Several people mentioned in their reviews that this projector was wifi compatible. Pcmag.com said on PC Mag “VGA ports, plus easy wireless connectivity to mobile devices”. Pc Mag mentioned in their review of the LG PW800 on PC Mag “WiDi for easy wireless mirroring of cell-phone, tablet”.

Does Not Support Wi-Fi

Most multimedia projectors that were launched more than a year ago do not support wi-Fi. The LG PW800 is no exception to this as it too does not support wi-Fi.

It is worth considering alternative multimedia projectors which also support wi-Fi including the Sony MP-CL1[plb_3151534_price] or the Vivitek Qumi Q6[plb_3137053_price].

Very Dim Projector Brightness

The projector brightnesss of comparable spec data projectors that have been on the market for around the same time as the PW800 range from 37 ANSI lumens to 8,200 ANSI lumens. At only 800 ANSI lumens, the LG PW800 has a fairly dim projector brightness compared to most of the other multimedia projectors that have been around for a comparable time to the PW800.

If this multimedia projector projector brightness is too dim for you then you might want to consider the Casio XJ-V1[plb_2971286_price] (2,700 ANSI lumens) which is also cheaper.
