Does Not Support 3D

The NP-M283X does not support 3D, although it is worth keeping in mind that most of the other 10000:1 contrast ratio projectors that are a similar age to the NP-M283X also do not support 3D.

There are a number of other projectors which also support 3D which you might also want to look at including the Optoma W515, the NEC NP-M363W, or the Epson Home Cinema 600 which is also higher rated.

The NP-M283X does not support full HD. Most of the other similar spec data projectors that have been available for more than a year also do not support full HD.

Alternative data projectors which also support full HD that you might want to consider include the NEC NP-M363X, the Epson Home Cinema 600, or the Acer P1510 (£399.99) which also has a higher rating.

Does Not Support Wi-Fi

Like most of the other projectors of a similar age and spec to the NP-M283X, the NP-M283X does not support wi-Fi.

It is worth also looking at other multimedia projectors which also support wi-Fi including the Powerlite W28+, or the EB-945H (£399.96) both from Epson or the Hitachi CP-AW2505 which also has a higher rating.

With a projector brightness of only 2,800 ANSI lumens, the NP-M283X has a fairly dim projector brightness compared to most of the other 10000:1 contrast ratio projectors that have been available for more than a year. Across all the 10000:1 contrast ratio projectors that were released one year ago the projector brightnesss range from 600 ANSI lumens to 12,000 ANSI lumens.

If you would prefer a data projector with a brighter projector brightness then you might also want to look at the H6517ST (£494.97) (3,000 ANSI lumens), or the H6510BD (£399.00) (3,000 ANSI lumens) both from Acer or the NEC M303WS (£784.98) (3,000 ANSI lumens) which is also higher rated.
