The Optoma ES556 supports a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200 (UXGA). That's over six times the resolution of the most frequently found supported graphics resolutions of 640 x 480 (VGA). This Optoma multimedia projector also supports a supported graphics resolutions of 800 x 600 (SVGA). Quite Quiet Noise Level

With a noise level of only 32 decibels, the Optoma ES556 has one of the quieter noise levels amongst 13000:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors of this age. Similar spec data projectors that are a comparable age to the ES556 have noise levels of between 26dB and 40dB, and the average noise level is 33dB.

We compared this multimedia projector to all the other 32dB noise level projectors and we think the TW519, and the MX819ST (£546.70) both from Benq which has better reviews is also worth considering.
