2 Reasons Against

Does Not Support Wi-Fi

Most multimedia projectors that are a comparable age to the HD131 do not support wi-Fi. The Optoma HD131 is no exception to this as it too does not support wi-Fi.

It is worth considering alternative projectors which also support wi-Fi including the Epson EB-Z9900W, the Elmo BOXi MP-350, or the LG PW700 which is also higher rated.

Quite Dim Projector Brightness

The projector brightnesss of comparable spec data projectors that came out around the same time as the HD131 range from 300 ANSI lumens to 9,200 ANSI lumens, and the average projector brightness is 2,900 ANSI lumens. With a projector brightness of only 2,000 ANSI lumens, the Optoma HD131 has one of the dimmer projector brightnesss amongst comparable spec projectors of this age.

We compared all the other 2,000 ANSI lumens brightness data projectors to this data projector and we think the Benq W7000+, and the Optoma ZX210ST (£549.00) which has better reviews is also worth considering.

If you want a projector with a brighter projector brightness then you might want to consider the Optoma HD50 (£999.00) (2,200 ANSI lumens), or the Epson 5020UB (2,400 ANSI lumens) which also has a higher rating.
