Five Optoma S310e reviewers agreed that it was compact. Four years ago A. V. Whitmore mentioned “Having played with it I wish I'd bought a more compact, higher resolution projector even though the cost is higher” nonetheless they only scored the product 60 out of 100. Bibi said three years ago “It is compact and small 2” in her review and rated this projector 5 stars. Mr. Chris Jones gave it a score of 5 stars and he wrote “Its a nice light compact machine plenty of light for a semi illuminated room” in his review.
A few Optoma S310e owners mentioned that it was a good depth. Dp wrote in their review of this projector on Amazon “At 3.5 inches depth it fits easily into my laptop bag for travel”. Leo said on Amazon “The luminosity is fine and color hue and depth is acceptable”.
Two customers mentioned in their reviews that this projector was a good height. Bibi said in her Optoma S310e review “There is a height adjuster at the front (one reviewer said there wasn't) - you just turn the little third leg 4”. Mr. R. V. Malin said on Amazon “I was tempted to deduct a star for the lack of 1] a Lens cover, 2] a Quick release height adjustment foot (as on previous models”.

One customer reckoned that the product was easy to carry around.
